Shipping policy
Shipping terms — the version Maria Barragan Slat published on October 31, 2026
Destinations. Orders can be addressed to the United States, New Zealand, Canada and Australia; checkout will not accept a delivery address anywhere else.
Fees. Our standard service is free regardless of cart value. Shoppers racing a move-in date or a party can tick our priority tier, billed at USD 15.00 (converted to your local currency at checkout), and that carton lands on the packing bench before every standard order waiting that morning. You see every choice with its cost on the checkout page before confirming.
Handling. Expect us to pass your order to the carrier 1–3 business days once payment goes through. If you check out on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, that window opens on the next working weekday.
Transit. Standard shipments generally reach the door 7–15 business days after dispatch. That figure is our best estimate, not a guaranteed date — bad weather, a congested hub or the holiday season can push it out.
Import fees. Your country may levy duty or sales tax when the shipment arrives. Whatever the checkout total did not already include is owed by the recipient.
Tracking. On dispatch day a link to follow the shipment lands in your inbox. Large orders sometimes travel as two or more cartons, and every carton is given its own link.
Damage and delays. Photograph the damaged item together with its carton and send the pictures to contact@mariabarraganslat.store within a week of the delivery date (7 days); we cover the new piece and the cost of shipping it. If the tracking status has not moved in 10 business days, let us know — we file the carrier claim ourselves and you get either a second shipment or your money back.
Address corrections. A new street or apartment number can be swapped in only before pickup, so send the correction by email quickly; once the driver has the box we lose control of its route.
